This Privacy Policy is a part of, and should be read together with the Terms of Use available on https://www.GLIDPRO.com/termsofuse. All capitalized terms that have not been specifically defined herein shall have the same meaning as provided under the Terms of Use.

Collection of Personal Data

Personal Information or Personally Identifiable Information or Personal Data (Personal Data) means data/information about or relating to a natural person

We collect Your Personal Data to provide You with the best in class user experience and services in the following ways :

  • Directly from You
    • We may collect Your name, mobile number, email, address, IP Address, pin code, age, gender, occupation etc when you browse or register to avail our services and/or when You interact with us over email, our support pages or chatbots. This information is collected to provide You with a customised user experience through a dedicated user account and or resolve any queries or requests raised by You respectively

    • When You purchase a subscription or make a payment for any services availed, our payment gateway partners or pre-paid instrument service providers as applicable, collect information with respect to Your credit/debit card details, net banking, or other bank account details. This is done by the payment gateway provider/pre-paid instrument service provider to process Your subscription or payment request as per the applicable laws. Please note that PTPL does not directly collect any such financial information from You. Such payment gateway partners or pre-paid instrument service providers, as applicable, are not controlled by us. When you visit such payment gateways or pre-paid instrument service providers, as applicable, you do so at your own risk. These payment gateways or pre-paid instrument service providers, as applicable, may have their own privacy policies in place, which we recommend You review. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy statements provided by such payment gateways or pre-paid instrument service providers, as applicable, prior to providing them with information about you or entering into any transactions with them. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for such partners, the content of such payment gateways or pre-paid instrument service providers, as applicable, and their privacy practices, nor do we endorse them.
    • If You choose to log-in, access or otherwise connect to GLIDPRO, through a third-party service (such as Facebook, Twitter, etc), we may, for example, collect your user ID and user name associated with that service, as well as any information You make public using that service. We may also collect information You have authorized that service to share with Us (such as Your user ID, billing information, public profile information, email address, birthday, and other account and profile data)
    • If You choose to post messages on social media accounts, message boards, chat rooms or other message areas or leave feedback, we will collect that information You provide to Us. We retain this information as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law.
    • Whilst We try and ensure that our authorised partners are committed to observing strictest privacy practices, they are independent entities in themselves and hence would be subject to their own Privacy Policies and practices. We strongly recommend You to view and familiarise yourself with those policy documents
  • Use of Personal Data
    • We may also use Your information to: (i) understand user behaviour; (ii) evaluate Your interest for various genres of content, services, offers, etc; and (iii) perform analytics and conduct customer research, to determine Your interest, for identifying content that generates sales and to analyse traffic patterns, demographics, devices, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve our users. This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. This information may include the platform that You just visited (whether this platform is on GLIDPRO or not), which platform You next visit, and Your computer browser information.
    • We use the collected information in order to provide You with a safe, efficient, smooth and customized experience. This allows us to provide services and features that most likely meet Your needs, and to customize GLIDPRO to make Your experience safer and easier
    • We identify and use Your IP address to help diagnose any problems with our server, and to administer GLIDPRO. Your IP address is also used to help identify You and to gather broad demographic information to customize Your experience on GLIDPRO.
    • We will occasionally ask You to complete optional online surveys. These surveys may ask You for contact information and demographic information (like zip code, age, etc). We use this data to tailor Your experience at GLIDPRO, providing You with content that We think You might be interested in and to display content according to Your preferences.
    • We may use the personal data provided to communicate through various modes like Phone Call, SMS, message, email, to You at regular intervals to notify You of, among other things, various offers, new content, exclusive deals etc., that may be available or new services that You may be interest to subscribe to etc. By accessing GLIDPRO, You expressly consent to receiving such communications from Us at regular intervals. However, if You do not wish to receive any communication from Us, You may request to change your preferences by using ‘Manage Preferences’ link on website or application.
    • Except as provided herein, we do not solicit any Sensitive Personal Information about You. However, if You share such information with us voluntarily, we will not be liable for any actions, claims, costs, expenses or other liabilities that may arise as a consequence of such any unauthorized use or misuse of such information.

  • Authorised partners, third parties, agents for instance our trusted vendors for providing us with customised solutions to meet our day to day business needs, cloud storage providers etc. We are committed to driving a strong data privacy culture across our value chain through strict contractual obligations on the said vendors and service providers
  • Law Enforcement Agencies and other Regulatory Bodies; We may also disclose or transfer Your Personal Information, inside or outside India strictly on confidential terms, with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies or judicial bodies in relation to a legal dispute or for any other purposes if called upon or to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to GLIDPRO. We may also disclose Your Personal Data if we, in the good faith believe that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
  • Third parties in order to provide You access to GLIDPRO and facilitate Your participation in any contest, game or activity conducted by PTPL, to comply with Our legal obligations.
  • Authorised marketing partners to provide you with unique offers on products and services we think would be of interest to you. In case you do not wish to receive such promotional offers please write to us on management@paxtortech.com with a subject reading “Unsubscribe”.
  • Third-party advertising companies to serve personalised advertisements when you visit or use our website, mobile application or services. These companies may use information (including but not limited to your name, address, email address or telephone number or any other personally identifiable information) about your visits or use of a particular website, mobile application or services, in order to serve you with personalised advertisements about goods and services, which may be of interest to you.
  • You hereby provide Your express consent to us for sharing Your Personal Information with third parties and our affiliates for marketing and advertising purposes
  • We shall endeavour that the third parties and agents engaged by us to whom we may provide access to Your Personal Information for the purposes set out herein are under an contractual obligation to protect Your Personal Information in accordance with the same standard that GLIDPRO has agreed to be subject to in this Privacy Policy.
  • GLIDPRO may disclose Your Personal Information to such extent as GLIDPRO may deem necessary for You to enter into commercial transactions with the website and/or application of GLIDPRO. Recipients of your Personal Information may be located outside India. This may include countries where applicable data protection laws provide a lesser degree of protection than India. However, You expressly consent to usage of such Personal Information.
  • In the event PTPL is merged with or acquired by another company or in case of re-organization or re-structuring of business, we and our affiliates will share Your Personal Information, wholly or in part, with another business entity.

Third Party Sites

GLIDPRO may provide links to various third-party websites that may collect Your Personal Data. Use of Your information collected by such third party platform will be governed by the privacy policy of such third party platform. PTPL has no control on the operation of such third party websites and You may share information with such third party at Your sole risk. PTPL shall not be liable to You for any misappropriation of Your Personal Information by such third party.

Data Deletion and Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary. This is required for the performance of the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your information, then you can request that we erase your personal information and close your GLIDPRO account. You/Users can request for account deletion by writing an email to management@paxtortech.com.

Users with an active subscription plan:

Users with auto-recurring payments enabled:

In case you have purchased Your subscription plan using an auto-recurring payment method (Apple In-App Purchase (IAP), Google In-App-Purchase (IAP), Amazon In-App-Purchase (IAP), Roku Pay, etc.), please ensure that such auto-recurring payment methods are disabled/turned off prior to initiating account deletion. Security and Compliance with Laws

We strive to protect Your Personal Information against unauthorized disclosure, misuse, unlawful use, modification, loss or destruction. We take all reasonable measures and precautions, as per standard industry practises, to keep Your Personal Information confidential. We ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

We use reasonable administrative, logical, physical and managerial measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use and modification as per law. Unfortunately, no measures can be guaranteed to provide 100% security. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of your information. By continuing to access the GLIDPRO platform you are aware of such risk.

Amendments

This Privacy Policy is subject to change from time to time without any written notice to You. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to ensure compliance with applicable laws (“Updated Terms”). The Updated Terms shall be effective immediately and shall supersede these terms of this Privacy Policy. Upon updating the Policy, we may revise the "Updated" date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. We will not be under an obligation to notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy. Select basic ads

To do basic ad selection vendors can:

  • Use real-time information about the context in which the ad will be shown, to show the ad, including information about the content and the device, such as: device type and capabilities, user agent, URL, IP address.
  • Use a user’s non-precise geolocation data
  • Control the frequency of ads shown to a user.
  • Sequence the order in which ads are shown to a user.
  • Prevent an ad from serving in an unsuitable editorial (brand-unsafe) context

Vendors cannot:

  • Create a personalised ads profile using this information for the selection of future ads.
  • N.B. Non-precise means only an approximate location involving at least a radius of 500 meters is permitted.

Measure content performance

To measure content performance vendors can:

  • Measure and report on how content was delivered to and interacted with by users.
  • Provide reporting, using directly measurable or known information, about users who interacted with the content
  • Combine this information with other information previously collected, including from across websites and apps.

Vendors cannot:

  • Measure whether and how ads (including native ads) were delivered to and interacted with by a user.
  • Apply panel- or similarly derived audience insights data to ad measurement data without a Legal Basis to apply market research to generate audience insights (Purpose 9).

Create a personalised ads profile

To create a personalised ads profile vendors can:

  • Collect information about a user, including a user's activity, interests, demographic information, or location, to create or edit a user profile for use in personalised advertising.
  • Combine this information with other information previously collected, including from across websites and apps, to create or edit a user profile for use in personalised advertising

Measure ad performance

To measure ad performance vendors can:

  • Measure whether and how ads were delivered to and interacted with by a user.
  • Provide reporting about ads including their effectiveness and performance
  • Provide reporting about users who interacted with ads using data observed during the course of the user's interaction with that ad .
  • Provide reporting to publishers about the ads displayed on their property
  • Measure whether an ad is serving in a suitable editorial environment (brand-safe) context.
  • Determine the percentage of the ad that had the opportunity to be seen and the duration of that opportunity
  • Combine this information with other information previously collected, including from across websites and apps.

Vendors cannot:

  • Apply panel- or similarly-derived audience insights data to ad measurement data without a Legal Basis to apply market research to generate audience insights (Purpose 9).

Develop and improve products

To develop new products and improve products vendors can:

  • Use information to improve their existing products with new features and to develop new products.
  • Create new models and algorithms through machine learning

  • Conduct any other data processing operation allowed under a different purpose under this purpose

Select personalised ads

To select personalised ads vendors can:

  • Select personalised ads based on a user profile or other historical user data, including a user’s prior activity, interests, visits to sites or apps, location, or demographic information.

To select personalised content vendors can:

  • Select personalised content based on a user profile or other historical user data, including a user’s prior activity, interests, visits to sites or apps, location, or demographic information.

Create a personalised content profile

To create a personalised content profile vendors can:

  • Collect information about a user, including a user's activity, interests, visits to sites or apps, demographic information, or location, to create or edit a user profile for personalising content.
  • Combine this information with other information previously collected, including from across websites and apps, to create or edit a user profile for use in personalising content.

Apply market research to generate audience insights

To apply market research to generate audience insights vendors can:

  • Provide aggregate reporting to advertisers or their representatives about the audiences reached by their ads, through panel-based and similarly derived insights.
  • Provide aggregate reporting to publishers about the audiences that were served or interacted with content and/or ads on their property by applying panel-based and similarly derived insights.
  • Associate offline data with an online user for the purposes of market research to generate audience insights if vendors have declared to match and combine offline data sources (Feature 1)
  • Combine this information with other information previously collected including from across websites and apps.

Vendors cannot:

  • Measure the performance and effectiveness of ads that a specific user was served or interacted with, without a Legal Basis to measure ad performance.
  • Measure which content a specific user was served and how they interacted with it, without a Legal Basis to measure content performance.

Technically deliver ads or content

To deliver information and respond to technical requests vendors can:

  • Use a user’s IP address to deliver an ad over the internet
  • Respond to a user’s interaction with an ad by sending the user to a landing page
  • Use a user’s IP address to deliver content over the internet
  • Respond to a user’s interaction with content by sending the user to a landing page.
  • Use information about the device type and capabilities for delivering ads or content, for example, to deliver the right size ad creative or video file in a format supported by the device.

Vendors cannot:

  • Conduct any other data processing operation allowed under a different purpose under this purpose.

Match and combine offline data sources

Vendors can:

  • Combine data obtained offline with data collected online in support of one or more Purposes or Special Purposes.

Receive and use automatically-sent device characteristics for identification

Vendors can:

  • Create an identifier using data collected automatically from a device for specific characteristics, e.g. IP address, user-agent string.
  • Use such an identifier to attempt to re-identify a device.

Vendors cannot:

  • Create an identifier using data collected via actively scanning a device for specific characteristics, e.g. installed font or screen resolution without users’ separate opt-in to actively scanning device characteristics for identification.
  • Use such an identifier to re-identify a device.
